Important Update from Six Wing Studios

regarding the Fog of Maya: Lotus Village Open Beta

Dear friends,

We have been overjoyed to see your excitement about The Fog of Maya: Lotus Village. We are very proud of what we’ve put together and are eager to share it with you. However, we have received notice from Google Play and the App Store that they are expecting delays in their app review process as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, we regret to announce that we will be delaying our open beta until the app review process is complete, and as the announcement reads “7 days or longer”, we aren’t exactly sure when that might be.

We understand that you may feel some disappointment. We do as well. But also, we get it. We understand that the reviewers are doing the best they can in a very turbulent time, and when we consider how disruptive the outbreak has been for the lives of so many people, we can only feel grateful that a brief delay in our release is the worst consequence we’ve had to suffer. We are grateful that we have remained healthy and able to work together, and we intend to use the additional time to add polish and content into the experience.

We are also exploring the possibility of distributing a small number of copies of our Android build through means other than the Google Play store. Please send us a direct message through Discord or social media to be considered for a copy.
